Sipe Organ
Modified & Expanded
Christ Lutheran of Alamo Heights
San Antonio, Texas
2019
We have recently removed 3 small instruments
for various projects and purposes.
-
The first is a very unique project involving the modification and rebuilding of a Wicks organ from 1923 and installing it in a recording studio for an individual in Victoria. This will be complete in January 2020.
-
We removed the Holtkamp practice organ from Trinity University in San Antonio due to water damage sustained during a plumbing failure. We repaired all damage, built new casework and had the instrument reinstalled and ready for service in two weeks.
-
The third small instrument project involved a 4 rank Moller from Wichita Falls which was damaged in a fire. We responded on a weekend and removed the instrument Sunday morning so that remediation could continue on the building. The instrument is in our shop waiting it's turn for restoration.
